Floods 2: January 2003

The aerial photos on this page were taken by paramotor pilot Geoff Soden.




The Dolphin car park (above the road in the top left of this picture) was completely flooded. The old mill is seen on the bottom right with all the new developments around it. Notice the boats in the marina on the bottom left, now joined up to the floods in the surrounding area. The river normally flows just past the right of the mill and below the bridge.
